Defender Molla Wague has been linked with a move to Greece, following his loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
The centre-back spent the second half of the campaign at the City Ground on loan from Udinese, making 11 appearances and scoring three goals – including finding the back of the net on his debut, to clinch a 2-1 victory over Brentford.
And now he is on the radar of Panathinaikos as they look to strengthen their defensive ranks, according to reports in Greece.
Sportdog claim he is “a key candidate for the heart of the defence” for the Athens-based club, and that “although his demands exceed the possibilities of the ‘Greens’, he is reportedly seriously considered”.
If that move does come to pass, it would mean that rather than lining up for an Evangelos Marinakis-owned side, Wague would be facing one.

Olympiacos, like the Reds, are owned by Marinakis and are bitter rivals of Panathinaikos in the Greek Super League.
Mali international Wague is said to be coming towards the end of his contract at Udinese.
The 28-year-old played just three times for them in the season just gone, before joining Martin O’Neill’s squad.
He also counts Watford, Granada, Leicester City and Caen as his former clubs.
