Moises Caicedo drops Manchester United transfer hint

Moises Caicedo appears to have dropped a hint over a possible move to Manchester United this month.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are still trying to finalise a deal for Ecuadorian midfielder Caicedo for a fee believed to be in the region of €6million.

MEN Sport understand the deal could also include a 20 per cent sell-on clause for the 19-year-old's current club, Independiente del Valle.

Although a report in Ecuador claimed the deal is 'official', a source privy to the negotiations told the MEN negotiations are still ongoing.

A possible move for Caicedo comes as part of a new recruitment strategy from United to sign the highest-rated teenage talents around the world.

If a deal is agreed the teenager would move to Manchester in January due to new work permit regulations and it looks like the youngster is keen for it to take place.

Caicedo appeared to drop a hint over his preferred move on social media as he 'liked' United's latest upload on social media.

The teenager was one of thousands to hit the like button on an Instagram upload from the official club account of Paul Pogba showcasing a fine piece of skill.

Although the like was hardly concrete evidence of a January transfer it does at least show Caicedo is keeping an eye on updates from Old Trafford.
