Moise Kean transfer fee confirmed as Juventus sign Everton striker

Moise Kean has left Everton with Juventus agreeing a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy the striker.

The Serie A side released an official announcement detailing the conditions of the 21-year-old’s return to the club two years after he had transferred to Goodison Park.

The statement read: “Juventus Football Club announces that an agreement with Everton Football Club for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2023, of the registration rights of the player Moise Bioty Kean has been finalised for a consideration of € 7.0 million, of which € 3.0 million for sporting season 2021/2022 and € 4.0 million for sporting season 2022/2023.

“The agreement entails the obligation for Juventus to definitely acquire the player’s registrations rights, subject to the achievement of certain given sporting objectives by the end of the season 2022/2023.

“The agreed consideration for the definitive acquisition is € 28.0 million, payable in three years.

“Furthermore, a maximum of € 3.0 million of cumulative bonuses are envisaged upon achievement of further sporting performance objectives.”

Kean - who was sent off in Everton’s 2-1 Carabao Cup win at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday - now appears to have kicked his last ball for Everton.

So long as he fulfils the “sporting objectives” mentioned in the document – likely to be playing a certain amount of games – his permanent move back to Juve will be ratified.

Kean, who spent the majority of last season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, joined Everton from Juventus for €27.5million plus €2.5million in add ons on August 4 2009.

He went on to score four goals in 39 games for the Blues.
