Moise Kean has tested positive for Covid-19, Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed.
The on-loan Everton striker will now enter a period of isolation and will miss PSG's game with Bordeaux, which was scheduled for this evening.
Kean has made a major impression since joining the French champions in October, scoring 15 times in 27 appearances.
PSG's sporting director Leanardo recently spoke of how their hopes of keeping Kean beyond the end of his loan will be "complicated" but made clear they want him to stay.
In a club statement, issued this afternoon. PSG confirmed Kean has tested positive for Covid and will miss this evening's Ligue 1 fixture.
"He stayed in Paris and will not be available for the match in Bordeaux," it read. "He will enter a period of isolation and is subject to the appropriate health protocols."
