Moise Kean addresses transfer rumours as striker prepares for Everton return

Moise Kean has addressed the transfer rumours that have recently surrounded his future as he sets out an immediate Everton aim.

The striker scored a brace over the international break for Italy U21s in a 6-0 victory over Aremia on Tuesday night, but is still yet to find the back of the net for his new club since a summer move from Juventus.

Marco Silva has only handed the teenager two Premier League starts so far this season, with seven appearances from the bench in the competition too.

That has led to some reports from overseas claiming a return to Serie A could be on the cards for the youngster, but Kean has made clear he is not taking any notice of the speculation.

Kean told Corriere dello Sport (via SportWitness): "I’m not thinking about the transfer window now, others are doing that. I’m looking at the present, I want to train and play.

"The Premier League is a very different league to Serie A. You need time to adapt. If I have to think about an immediate goal, it’s only to earn a starting spot at Everton and work towards that."

Kean was left out of the squad for Everton's most recent match against Southampton after arriving late for a team meeting for the second time.

However, the striker is expected to be available for potential selection this weekend when Norwich make the visit to Goodison Park on Saturday.
