Moi Elyounoussi's Celtic showing earns him huge UEFA rankings move as he joins Rangers star in top 10

Celtic star Moi Elyounoussi has entered UEFA's power rankings at an incredibly high sixth place after his double against Lille.

The winger wasn't even in the top 100 after last week's games but has flown right up the rankings after his performance in France on Thursday night.

The Norwegian was impressive and scored a wondergoal to open the scoring before adding a second later in the first half.

He was frustrated by the second half collapse but put in arguably his best performance since returning to the club on loan.

There were no Celtic players on the list last week while James Tavernier was the only Rangers star on it.

And the Ibrox skipper is on it again in eighth place, one up from last week's ninth after another impressive performance against Lech Poznan.

He's not the only Rangers player in the power rankings as Connor Goldson makes an entrance for the first time this season.

The defender is well down the list in 87th place after helping his side to a second consecutive win and clean sheet in the Europa League.

Villarreal striker Paco Alcacer is top of the ratings, with Tottenham's Son Heung-Min and Michael Liendl of Wolfsburg making up the top three.
