Mohanad Jeahze on Celtic transfer brink as player 'decides' on £2m Parkhead switch

Celtic are reportedly on the brink of landing Hammarby's Mohanad Jeahze for £2million.

Ange Postecoglou has been eyeing up his targets for the summer with this season's Premiership title all but wrapped up.

He's keen to strengthen early and when on top as Celtic prepare to wrest the title back from Rangers

Cover at left-back has been one of their problem areas with persona non grata Boli Bolingoli looking likely to leave this summer.

Greg Taylor is first choice while Josip Juranovic has spent time covering there and Liam Scales has been an option since arriving from Shmarock Rovers.

The Scottish Sun say they have settled on 25-year-old Jeahze as the man to fill that hole.

And it's also claimed he has now decided on Celtic Park is his next destination with a move "on the verge" of being completed.

Jeahze has four assists in 15 appearances for Hammarby so far this season and is widely viewed as one of the most talented full-backs in Sweden.

But his contract is due to expire in 18 months and Hammarby have agreed to sell up amid extensive interest from Celtic and elsewhere.
