Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited on Sunday the Jeddah Corniche Circuit ahead of the inaugural Saudi Arabian Formula One Grand Prix.
The Saudi Sports Ministry tweeted a photo of Crown Prince Mohammed as he arrived at the circuit.
The race in Jeddah is the season's penultimate ahead of next weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The championship has gone down to the wire between defending champ Lewis Hamilton, driving for Mercedes, and Max Verstappen, driving for Red Bull, with only eight points separating them before the Jeddah race.
