Mohammed bin Salman Affirms Saudi Support for Iraq's Security

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has stressed to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kadhimi in a telephone call the Kingdom’s support to Iraq's development and security.

The Crown Prince also affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries.

His phone call to Kadhimi came after parliament granted the Iraqi PM's cabinet a vote of confidence.

The Prime Minister thanked the Crown Prince, stressing his keenness on the relations between the two countries and pushing them for more cooperation.

A statement issued by Kadhimi’s press office, said he received an invitation from Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Saudi Arabia.

Kadhimi also received support Thursday from several Arab and western officials.
