Two men, aged 18 and 21, have now been arrested on suspicion of murder.

“Aqil taught so many boys and girls how to recite the book of Allah with passion.

“He was an amazing role model and inspiration for these kids who were excited to attend their lessons just to be in his joyful company.”

An online fundraiser in his memory has raised more than £15,000.

“We need the public’s support to make London a safer place for everyone and you can assist by picking up the phone and telling us what you know. If you don’t want to give your name, call Crimestoppers anonymously, but please tell us what you know.”
