Mohamed Sanu has NFL’s 4th-best separation vs. press since coming to Falcons

Is there any NFL team that even comes close to the level of talent that the Atlanta Falcons have at wide receiver? The Cleveland Browns could have an argument with Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry teaming up again, but Atlanta should still be considered No. 1 in this area for now.

Not only is Julio Jones the best receiver of our time, the team has two extremely capable options on the depth chart behind him. Calvin Ridley led the team with 10 touchdowns as a rookie and Mohamed Sanu is one of the sport’s most underrated playmakers. One of many areas Sanu excels in is his ability to separate against press coverage.

According to Next Gen Stats, Sanu ranks No. 4 in the NFL in average yards of separation vs. press coverage since he came to the Falcons in 2016. Beckham and Landry came in at No. 1 and No. 3 respectively.

Sanu still has two years left on his contract.
