Mohamed Salah won't be watching Man City as Liverpool star reveals alternative plans

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has hinted that he will not be watching Chelsea vs Manchester City tomorrow - the game where the title could be clinched.

After a dominant performance against Crystal Palace, where Salah pulled the strings once again, Jurgen Klopp 's side are just two points shy of ending a 30-year wait for a league title.

The title could be clinched tomorrow if Manchester City fail to beat Chelsea, a game that Liverpool fans will eagerly be watching as the long wait to celebrate comes to an end.

Of course, Liverpool have not only been waiting three decades as they've also had to wait months longer than usual due to the coronavirus situation, which has, unfortunately, meant fans will not be present for the final games of the season.

Still, you'd expect all Liverpool eyes to be focused at Stamford Bridge and hoping that Chelsea can do them a favour - but it appears Salah's attention will be elsewhere.

Asked about his plans for tomorrow, Salah has suggested he will not be watching his former side in action and will instead enjoy time with his family.

"I feel great," Salah told Sky Sports. "I think since I came here, I said I want to win the Premier League with this team, they didn't win it for a long time.

"So, it was the right time. Last year we had a chance but Man City perform also really good and they deserve to win it. It's our time to win it, it's great."

He added: "Play with my daughter." And on whether he would be messaging the other players, the Egyptian laughed: "I don't know."
