Mr Jamie Luck, Headteacher at St Paul's Catholic Junior school, thanked Mo and praised the impact that his visit had on pupils at the school.

Mr Luck said: "It was fantastic to welcome Mo to St Paul's yesterday. The children, red or blue, were so excited to meet such a super star and an idol to so many.

"He spoke well to the children about his childhood and how important it is to work hard in school, to always try your best and to follow your dreams, exactly like he did.

"We wished him and the rest of the squad well for the rest of the season and his signed shirt will be used in school to raise money for the Owen McVeigh Foundation."
