Mohamed Salah takes aim at Liverpool critics in new advert with Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain

Mohamed Salah has posted an advert onto his Instagram page which appears to address fans who unfairly criticise Liverpool players.

Reds captain Jordan Henderson and dynamic midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also both involved in the advert, which firstly sees a man sat on his sofa watching a match in what appears to be his pyjamas while eating crackers.

He jumps up as Salah bursts through during the game, which you see for the first time is the 2-2 draw between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park back in October.

The man is exasperated as Salah misses and he exclaims: "Salah, Salah, go! Oh man, you could've put it in the corner!"

The Egyptian superstar then appears next to the man on his sofa, dressed in a full Liverpool kit.

"Why don't you go and play instead?" Salah asks the man.

He replies: "Salah! Oh man, you could've put it in the corner."

The man then magically swaps clothes with Salah and the Liverpool attacker now has on the pyjamas and the man's glasses.

Unmoved, Salah says: "No, really. Play instead of me, I will sit and watch."

The man asks for a minute to get warmed up before Salah asks him politely to sit back down.

As he sets himself back down on the sofa, the kit and pyjamas seamlessly change once again and a period of dialogue ensues.

"We need to work on aligning the midfield," the man tells Salah.

"These crackers are really good," the winger replies deadpan while nibbling on the snack which has remained in his hands from the original swap.

The Reds fan starts giving advice like "put Henderson on the wings" before Salah asks him to watch in silence, only for the man to protest.

Salah's phone then rings and he smiles as he tells the man: "Look, you've brought this on yourself."

Henderson then appears on screen and the man cautiously says: "Hey Hendo..."

The Liverpool midfielder snaps back quickly with: "What?"

Once again, the man in the advert starts offering advice to the England international captain and tells him Liverpool "need to put our head in the game a little..." before Henderson simply says "excuse me" and hangs up the call.

Undeterred the man continues to offer up advice to Salah by saying: "This one needs to be shot with the point of the shoe."

Salah tells him to "shh" and he once again tries to coach the world-class forward: "Point the tippy toe of the shoe, and shoot."

The phone rings again as Salah kindly asks the man not to "improvise" and this time Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the phone.

The bewildered attacking midfielder comes on the bounce, saying: "Mo, do you know this guy?"

Salah answers in delight: "Ox! I'm pretty sure he's referring to you."

As the talisman passes the phone across to the man, Oxlade-Chamberlain comes onto the screen to ask: "What is he talking about?"

The man replies in a bit more of a panic saying: "Don't get me wrong, star. I just mean let's play easy so we can score a goal."

The camera then pans back to Salah sitting on the sofa as he cooly states: "Like this one?"

The TV screen then shows him scoring in the 2-2 draw at Everton back in October with a first-time volley past Jordan Pickford.

The man turns back to find Salah has disappeared and he simply shouts: "Ah, you go Salah!"

A voiceover then comes on screen to tell you that AlexBank are behind the advert and they've launched a new series of Liverpool credit cards which give you the chance to win prizes like a TV, soundbar, Salah's Liverpool shirt and a Reds ball by using the cards more.
