Mohamed Salah stars in new Pepsi advert filmed in Liverpool city centre

A new advertisement featuring Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has emerged on social media.

The Reds forward has been in incredible form this season, scoring 19 goals in all competitions so far.

Salah netted a brace on Wednesday night in the 4-1 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby, to take his tally in the Premier League to 13 this term.

Back in October, Salah was spotted filming an advert for Pepsi near Liverpool’s Chinatown area, just days before he netted a hat-trick against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Salah was seen running through the streets of Liverpool sporting a bright blue coat, with a crowd of extras just behind him.

He was also photographed separately with agent Ramy Abbas Issa, as contract negotiations remain ongoing with the club.

Now the advert has been shared on Youtube and on other forms of social media, which shows Salah being the key figure.

In the advert, it shows various actors playing Salah from a young child growing up, featuring a cover version of the song (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones.

It eventually culminates to the current Salah running through the streets of Liverpool, including the Strand, while being chased by dozens of fans.

The advert has been released just days after the Egyptian finished in seventh place in the Ballon d’Or rankings.

Salah received 121 votes and finished behind the likes of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Cristiano Ronaldo, while Lionel Messi won the award.
