Mohamed Salah has sent a passionate message to Liverpool fans after helping the Reds qualify for next season's Champions League.
A dismal start to 2021 saw Jurgen Klopp 's side's Premier League title defence quickly collapse as they faced up to the real possibility of missing out on Europe's elite competition next year.
At the height of the Liverpool 's issues back in February, following three-successive defeats to Brighton, Man City and Leicester City, Salah took to Twitter to make a heartfelt promise to supporters.
"It’s been a tough period for many reasons," he wrote. "We are champions and we will fight like champions, until the very end.
"We will not allow this season to be defined by the recent results we’ve had. That is my promise to all of you."

Liverpool recovered to finish the season with a 10-match unbeaten run and clinch a, previously unlikely, top three finish as a result.
And after the Reds' final day victory over Crystal Palace, Salah spoke out to supporters again after delivering on his mid-season vow.
"We went through a lot this season," he reflected. "The empty stadiums, coupled with the great hurdles we faced, would have shattered any other team.
"Not us. We came third. And never stopped believing."
Salah finished the season with 22 goals from 37 Premier League appearances, finishing second behind Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot, with five coming during Liverpool's 10-game unbeaten run and subsequent surge up the table.
