Mohamed Salah shows his class after being targeted by pitch invaders during Egypt match

Mohamed Salah showed his class by embracing a fan who invaded the pitch during Egypt's 2-2 draw in Angola on Friday night.

In the dying embers of the World Cup qualifier, supporters made it onto the field and headed straight toward the Liverpool forward.

Salah showed his class by hugging the first fan and, as he looks to get on with the game, another is seen heading towards the 29-year-old looking for a selfie.

A third is then seen joining in before the camera pans away to Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, who Salah had set up for one of Egypt's two goals.

Reportedly it wasn’t the first time in the match that fans had attempted to show their admiration for Salah, who also assisted Egypt's other goal.

The result means that Egypt progress to the African World Cup play-offs as Group F winners.

Next up for Salah and Co is a home game against Gabon on Tuesday afternoon.
