Mohamed Salah seals surprise move to Trabzonspor after Liverpool exit

Mohamed Salah Trabzonspor Liverpool EPL

Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor, arriving as a free agent after his departure from Liverpool earlier this summer.
Hundreds of fans greeted the 34-year-old forward at Ataturk Airport as he travelled to formalise his move to the club.
During his nine years at Anfield, Salah scored 257 goals in 442 appearances, helping Liverpool secure two Premier League titles and the Champions League.
The former Premier League Player of the Season and Golden Boot winner had been linked with several clubs, including Trabzonspor's rivals Besiktas, before finalising his surprise move.
This signing is considered a significant acquisition for Trabzonspor, who finished third in the Super Lig last season and will compete in the Europa League play-offs.
