Mohamed Salah seals surprise move to Trabzonspor after Liverpool exit

  • Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor, arriving as a free agent after his departure from Liverpool earlier this summer.
  • Hundreds of fans greeted the 34-year-old forward at Ataturk Airport as he travelled to formalise his move to the club.
  • During his nine years at Anfield, Salah scored 257 goals in 442 appearances, helping Liverpool secure two Premier League titles and the Champions League.
  • The former Premier League Player of the Season and Golden Boot winner had been linked with several clubs, including Trabzonspor's rivals Besiktas, before finalising his surprise move.
