Mohamed Salah has hilariously fanned the flames of his ongoing rivalry with Harry Kane ahead of Saturday's Champions League final.
With the England captain seemingly winning his battle to be fit to feature in Madrid, the duo are set to be deciding figures in Madrid this weekend.
Both players have scored five times against Liverpool and Tottenham respectively during their careers, with Kane featuring nine times against the Reds and Salah running out on eight occasions against Spurs.
Meanwhile, they have scored 50 goals between them this season and boast two Premier League golden boots apiece having established themselves as two of the top-flight's most-feared finishers.
The pair enjoy a strong rivalry as a result, with Salah finishing as leading goalscorer ahead of Kane in both domestic seasons since his return to England.
While injury prevented the Spurs striker from properly challenging for the golden boot this season, he controversially claimed a goal against Stoke City last year to mass ridicule in the Liverpool camp in his failed attempts to usurp Salah as leading goalscorer.
However, Kane has outscored in the Egyptian in Europe this year, boasting five goals to his name ahead of the Liverpool forward's four.
And while Salah has a lot of respect for his Tottenham counterpart, he couldn't resist a cheeky dig at Kane's expense when speaking to Gary Lineker in the latest edition of BT Sport's UCL Unfiltered.
"Harry Kane is a good player and he proved for many years," Salah said. "He’s a top scorer for his team and in English football.
"Before I came!"
