Mohamed Salah's emphatic response to suggestion he may leave Liverpool

Mohamed Salah has quite literally laughed off a suggestion that he could be sold by Liverpool.

The Egyptian forward stands on the verge of picking up the Premier League title with the Reds when football can resume amid the coronavirus crisis, adding that to the Champions League he won with the club last year.

Salah also picked up the Premier League Golden Boot in each of the last two completed seasons, ensuring that his £36,7million arrival from Roma in the summer of 2017 has been made to look like a bargain.

The former Chelsea man signed a new five-year deal with the Reds at the end of his first season at the club, in which he scored a remarkable 44 goals in 52 appearances, but that hasn't stopped him being linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus during his time at Anfield.

But if his social media game is anything to go by, then Salah doesn't want to go anywhere right now.

Responding to Sky Sports' Instagram account asking the question of whether Liverpool should keep or sell Salah this summer, the forward simply replied with three laughing emojis to the delight of Reds fans.

He quickly deleted the comment, but not before it had been liked thousands of times over.

Salah, like the rest of his Liverpool teammates, is currently waiting to see when the season can resume as the Reds sit just two wins away from becoming champions.

Premier League clubs remain committed to finishing the 2019/20 season, although plans to play all remaining matches behind closed doors at between 8-10 neutral stadia are said to be unpopular with some clubs.

The league will hold its next meeting on the subject next Friday.
