Mohamed Salah's agent sends out Liverpool title race message as Man City face Leicester City showdown

The agent of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah hasn't been averse to using social media to get his message across.

Just last month Ramy Abbas Issa declared the Spanish press were "talking out of their AS again" after claiming Salah, a target for Real Madrid, had fallen out with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

Now the player's representative has delivered a thinly-veiled message as the Premier League title race goes down to the final week.

Graeme Souness makes shock Divock Origi declaration and slams Liverpool performance in beating Newcastle United

Abbas, a qualified lawyer, graduated from the University of Leicester in 2005.

And with Leicester City set to take on Liverpool's title rivals Manchester City at the Etihad on Monday night, Abbas has posted on both Twitter and Instagram a photo of his graduation.

The insinuation isn't exactly subtle.

Liverpool fans sing 'Mo Salah song' out in Barcelona

Salah strengthened his position as the Premier League's leading goalscorer by scoring his 22nd top-flight goal of the season in the 3-2 win at Newcastle United on Saturday night.

The result once again moved Klopp's side two points clear of City, whose game in hand is against Leicester. The title rivals play their final game next Sunday.

Salah's evening was ended prematurely when he left on a stretcher having suffered a head injury when colliding with Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

The Egyptian will undergo tests before a decision is made on his availability for Tuesday's Champions League semi-final second leg at home to Barcelona, with Liverpool aiming to overturn a 3-0 first-leg defeat.
