Mohamed Salah believes Liverpool have learned from their Champions League heartache a year ago.
Jurgen Klopp's side will be hoping to go one better this weekend when they take on Tottenham in Madrid.
The Reds were beaten by Real Madrid a year ago but go into this weekend's final as the favourites.
Mohamed Salah was forced off a year ago with a shoulder problem after a robust challenge from Sergio Ramos.
And he is hoping to right the wrong of that defeat in Kiev when he takes to the field this weekend.
He told beIN Sports: “I am so happy that I have the chance to play another final.
“I hope I can play the full game this time.
“I hope we can right what happened last season, get a good result, and win the competition.”
Salah added: “Of course this is our second final in a row.
“We lost the first, but everything feels better this time around and we have more experience.
“We are back in Liverpool , and we are feeling very motivated as players and coaching staff. I hope we can win it this time.”
The Reds are looking for their sixth European Cup success against Spurs but their first trophy of Jurgen Klopp's reign.
He admits the current side is the best he has led into a final, having also been runners-up in the Champions League with Borussia Dortmund.
“I have never been part of a final with a better team than this,” he said.
“Our boys mix our potential with attitude in the best way I have witnessed. That is brilliant, exceptional, and it brought us where we are."
