Liverpool lost the Premier League's last remaining unbeaten record after losing 3-2 to West Ham United at the London Stadium, while forward Mohamed Salah was denied a league record.
The teams went in level at half-time after Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick cancelled out an early own goal from Reds goalkeeper Alisson, only for Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma to put the home side 3-1 ahead.
Substitute Divock Origi pulled one back, but Jurgen Klopp's side couldn't find an equaliser, with Sadio Mane missing their best chance in the closing minutes.
It was a rare off-day for Salah, who is still the top scorer in the division with 10 goals but missed an opportunity to make history.

Salah frustrations: Two key moments for Liverpool star at West Ham sum up key concerns
Salah's hat-trick against Manchester United ensured he found his name on the scoresheet in each of Liverpool's first five away games in the league this season.
Former Arsenal man Thierry Henry was the only other player to achieve the feat for a Premier League side, back in the 2001-02 season, and a goal for Salah would have made him the first to find the net in six straight away games at the start of a season.
Henry's goals last season came away to Middlesbrough, Chelsea, Fulham, Derby County and Southampton, with the Frenchman scoring six in total across the run, while Salah's five away league games before the trip to West Ham had seen him find the net on seven occasions.
The Egyptian had failed to score in the home games against Brighton and Atletico Madrid before drawing another blank in London, and it is the first time he has gone three straight matches without scoring since March.
The result in east London leaves Liverpool four points behind league leaders Chelsea with 11 matches played, while opponents West Ham leapfrogged them into third with the victory.
Salah still has 15 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions this season, with the tally including three at Old Trafford and doubles in the European victories away to Porto and Atletico Madrid.
In the league, he has three more goals than his nearest challenger Jamie Vardy, with Salah's club teammate Mane and West Ham's Michail Antonio one more behind.

Premier League Team of the Week: Man City and West Ham trios in along with Arsenal star
Liverpool and Salah will have to wait until after the international break to respond to their defeat, with their next league match coming on November 20 at home to Arsenal.
It's the first of three home games in a row, with Porto and Southampton also coming to Anfield.
Liverpool are still the Premier League's top scorers, with 31 goals shared across the squad, and the Reds and their top scorer will be keen to make sure the defeat to West Ham isn't the start of anything more concerning.
