Mohamed Salah has admitted Jurgen Klopp's new contract, which keeps him at the club until 2026, is 'good' for everyone' at Liverpool.
It was announced last week that the Reds' boss had agreed a fresh deal to stay beyond his anticipated exit date of 2024, providing supporters with a huge boost as the 2021/22 season draws to a close. One individual whose long-term future is less certain, however, is Salah.
The Egyptian will be making his Anfield exit next summer unless a new agreement can be reached before then, though a breakthrough in negotiations is yet to be reached. Some fans hope that Klopp's decision to renew could inspire Salah to follow a similar path, though this is a saga that remains unsolved at this stage.

Discussing his relationship with the German and how the squad reacted to news of his decision to remain on Merseyside for at least a further four years, Salah said: "Of course, we (he and Klopp) have a good relationship since I came here.
'We've worked together for five years and we've achieved a lot of things for the club. Of course, it's great to see him extend his contract with the club. It's good for everyone, for the club and the players, and let's see what happens next."
The Premier League top-scorer also addressed the Reds' chances of the quadruple when speaking at the Football Writers' Association awards ceremony, stating: "Most of us have been together for five years now, we know what it takes to win. We just need to focus and give 100%. We were 2-0 down in the last game and we came back - that’s really important for our mindset. We have the mindset that we can win any trophy."
