Mohamed Salah makes Estadio do Dragao joke after Liverpool's Champions League win over Porto

Mohamed Salah has joked that Liverpool should play all their home games at the Estadio do Dragao after they thrashed Porto 5-1.

The Reds made it two wins from two in the Champions League on Tuesday night as Salah and his teammates took apart their hosts.

Curtis Jones was the star of the show as Salah and Roberto Firmino bagged a brace each with Sadio Mane registering a tap-in on the stroke of half-time.

The Estadio do Dragao has become a happy hunting ground for Jurgen Klopp’s side in recent seasons in the Champions League.

After winning their first tie 5-0 a couple of seasons ago, the last three meetings between the two sides in Portugal have ended 14-2 to Liverpool on aggregate.

And speaking after the game, Salah admitted that there is no secret behind his team’s impressive form in the Portuguese city.

“Yes, I think we dominated the game from the beginning and it’s a good result for us,” the forward said when asked about his side’s result.

“I think we are now going to finish first in the group. It is a tough game to play, but we dominated the game from the beginning so it’s a good result.

“I think we need to play our home games here! I don’t know the secret but we always try to give 100 percent in each game.

“We’ve played well against them most of the time, especially here. We’ve scored many goals but from the beginning the game is never easy.

“We just try to give our best and we were lucky in every game to score from the beginning so that makes the game easier, so yes, we are happy about that.”
