Mohamed Salah explains "favourite" Man Utd moment as Liverpool resume title quest

Mohamed Salah says Liverpool are relaxed and ready to go again as their Premier League title dream draws ever nearer.

The Reds are now just a maximum of six wins away from securing their first league title since 1990 having opened up a remarkable 22-point gap from second-placed Manchester City at the top of the table.

Jurgen Klopp opted to give senior stars such as Salah a full winter break over the last two weeks, with Neil Critchley's youngsters called upon for the FA Cup fourth round replay victory over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield last week.

Salah and co. will be back for the Premier League clash at Norwich City on Saturday evening though, and the Egyptian says the squad will be well-prepared.

“I think we had a good break and everyone is fresh and everyone is excited to go again, so hopefully we will be ready for the game," said the Egyptian upon receiving Liverpool's Player of the Month award for January.

Salah scored three goals - against the Uniteds of Sheffield, Manchester and West Ham- and provided three assists during the month, following that up with a brace against Southampton on February 1.

Picking up the gong for the first time since August, he added: "I am happy to win this award and as I’ve said before many times, the important thing is to win the games and I think we did well that month, so hopefully we’ll keep [going] like that."

When pressed on his standout moment of January, Salah picked his strike which sealed the 2-0 win over Manchester United at Anfield and served as his first goal against the Red Devils.

“I scored a goal against Man United after two years, so that was my favourite moment," he said.
