Mohamed Salah again hints at future move to Spain with latest transfer declaration

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has again opened the door for a potential move to Spain by admitting he would be tempted by a transfer to La Liga "one day".

The 28-year-old Egyptian star has had another superb personal season in the Premier League, and is the joint top scorer along with Harry Kane with 17 goals.

But with the Reds struggling to reproduce their form from the 2019-20 campaign, some believe Salah may be growing frustrated at Anfield, and that he could seek to leave the club in the summer.

Salah is currently on international duty with his country, and gave another interview to Spanish outlet Marca in which he discussed a number of topics.

And when asked if he could be interested in joining the likes of Madrid in the future, Salah replied: "It's not up to me. We will see what happens, but I prefer not to talk about that right now.

"I hope to be able to play for many more years, so why not? No one knows what is going to happen in the future, so maybe one day, yes."

Salah and co will come up against Madrid in the first leg of Liverpool's Champions League quarter-final clash against Zinedine Zidane's side next week.

And he insisted revenge will not be a motivating factor after they were defeated by Los Blancos in the final of the tournament in 2018.

"That game is in the past, so I don't think about it," he added. "I'm thinking about the team. Everyone is focused on their team and everyone wants to win... that's it.

"Let's just say that I have special motivation to win the tie and go through to the semi finals. What's going to happen now isn't going to change the result of the final in Kiev. That's in the past."
