Modi may visit Karnataka on April 5

Karnataka Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Karnataka on April 5 to launch a slew of special programmes aimed at the development of the State, announced Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday.

Asked if he would be discussing the Cabinet expansion during the visit of either Mr. Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah earlier, he said any discussion on it would be only during his visit to Delhi. “I will go to Delhi when called,” said the Chief Minister.
