Model snaps selfie on beach and accidentally catches woman 'taking photo of her'

A model was left baffled after she accidentally captured the moment an “elderly woman” snapped a sneaky picture of her while she was sunbathing on the beach.

Eliza Rose Watson, 31, from the UK, was lounging on the beach in Crete during a recent holiday when she decided to take a selfie to send to a friend.

When she zoomed in, she noticed someone lurking in the background of the image – a woman who appeared to have her phone pointed in Eliza Rose’s direction.

But she didn’t take the incident to heart as she joked that her unlikely fan might have gotten a better angle of her bottom.

Eliza Rose shared the picture on TikTok ( @elizarosewatson1 ) with her 46,000 followers, where she wrote: "I mean, fair play to her. Has she got a better angle?"

The post was viewed more than 18,000 times and racked up over 2,000 likes, with viewers left in hysterics over the apparent blunder, calling the woman out for being “sneaky.”

One person said: “She deffo got a close up there.”

Another wrote:: “Yea just texting…”

“Lol busted,” said someone else.

“There wasn’t much to do apart from laugh,” Eliza Rose said.

“I respected her confidence and sense of apathy towards the situation.

“My brain likes to think she saw an innocent woman getting her tan on but she, more likely, would have been giving me a virtual middle finger to the way ‘kids’ act today.

“I felt like my space was a little bit invaded, however, she was within her rights to take the photo or film.

“After realising what had happened, I actually wanted to track her down because she probably got a better photo than me!”

Eliza Rose says she has had similar incidents happen before – but usually with members of the opposite sex, as opposed to “elderly women”.
