Model Demi Rose blames viral awkward runway walk on parent's death after trolling

Model Demi Rose has hit back at vicious trolls who blasted her runway walk on Twitter .

The clip of Birmingham-born Demi walking the runway at an Oh Polly show went viral after people compared it unfavourably to the walk of catwalk legend Naomi Campbell.

Savage comments about her runway appearance in a gold cut-out swimsuit: "I love Demi Rose but girl no :( that’s the worst cat walk ever :( train this girl pls, all love here".

Another said: "demi rose is so beautiful but i dont think the catwalk is for her lol".

"Who allowed this to happen on their runway. Are runway coaches no longer a thing??????? Like the basics of the basics are not happening here, like she doesn’t bring her feet to center line at all? Maybe fake hips take away that range of motion idk", pondered a third.

Taking to her Twitter account, she wrote: "All jokes aside yes I’m not the best runway model.

"I was super nervous, didn’t want to do it, my top went missing backstage, my shoes were too big for me in height and size not to mention I was dealing with personal issues loosing my parents, my mom a month before."

"But it’s done now. I can laugh too but I’m still here and it’s all Gucccci!"
