Mock draft watch: PFF’s latest is a brotherly affair for the Lions

The latest 2020 NFL mock draft from the good folks at Pro Football Focus offers an interesting possibility for the Detroit Lions. Picking at No. 17 overall — that is the current draft slot based on records through Week 6 — the projection gives the Lions a very familiar name.

Yes, Julian is current Lions EDGE Romeo Okwara’s younger brother. He’s a similar type of player too, though a little smaller (240 pounds) and more dynamic of an athlete. Julian can do Romeo’s power rush, but he also has enough athleticism to play in space and win around the outside of the tackle box.

The pick would certainly fill a need in Detroit, which has badly struggled to generate pressure on opposing QBs all season.
