Mock draft watch: Jeremiah reunites Marquise Brown with Baker Mayfield in latest mock

Among the mock drafts that make their way around during draft season, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah often puts together one of the best.

The former Cleveland Browns scout in the early 2000’s released his latest prediction as to what direction he could see the Browns going at pick No. 17.

Jeremiah elected the Browns to draft Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown in his latest mock draft following the NFL Combine. His explanation,

”I would love to see Brown reunite with his Oklahoma teammate Baker Mayfield. They created some fireworks in college, and we’d see them in Cleveland, too.”

Brown being picked at 17 would be interesting, considering he recently had surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury. He is also just 166 pounds, making his weight compared to other NFL wide receivers on the lighter side.

Despite the negatives, Brown would be an incredible weapon for Baker Mayfield and a familiar one too.
