Mock Draft watch: Charley Casserly projects Browns go LB

The first mock draft of the season from NFL.com analyst Charley Casserly is out, and it’s different than most mock drafts out there right now. The former NFL GM projects three quarterbacks in the top 15 and four offensive tackles off the board before the Cleveland Browns pick at No. 17 overall.

That leaves LSU LB Devin White for the taking, and Casserly wastes little time in projecting the rangy White to Cleveland. The succinct explanation says a lot,

“Excellent instincts and athletic ability. Too good of a player to pass up here.”

White is typically off the board well before the Browns pick. He’s the most common projection to the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 11 in mock drafts so far this season.
