Rival drug mobs are blaming each other after a shared shipment of €7million in cannabis was busted by gardai.
Dublin Live can reveal one of the country’s biggest crime lords is furious and has ordered an investigation.
The Northside Dublin gang leader known as Mr Big was linked to the haul.
Sources revealed a number of other criminals also had a stake in it.
Now they are all pointing the finger at each other after gardai and Revenue officers seized the drugs.
The 352kg haul of cannabis herb was discovered in a shipping container in Dublin Port on Friday.
Gardai say it had arrived in Ireland from Spain.
Three men aged 31, 47 and 49 were arrested and are being quizzed at Garda stations in Dublin city.
Searches continued after the discovery and gardai said investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson added: “As part of routine profiling, Revenue Customs officers and members of An Garda Síochana attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau conducted a joint operation which resulted in the seizure of 352 kilograms of herbal cannabis with an estimated value in excess of €7million.
“The illegal drugs arrived in a container from Spain through Dublin Port.
“Three males are currently detained pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996 at Garda stations in Dublin City.
