Mob boss 'Mr Flashy' ordered to give up names of gang members involved in brutal attack – or face violent retribution

Mob boss “Mr Flashy” has been ordered to give up the names of associates involved in a brutal attack – or face violent retribution.

Sources have revealed to Dublin Live the embattled mobster has been told “no amount of money” will resolve a bitter dispute between him and allies of slain gangster Shane Fowler.

Gardai now fear an all-out gangland war after thugs close to the Finglas-based mobster slashed and beat two of Fowler’s associates with iron bars – leaving them with horrific injuries last week.

That attack resulted in an associate of “Mr Flashy” suffering an eye injury in a brutal slashing attack – and a car belonging to a woman linked to him smashed up a day later.

And now Dublin Live has learned a close ally of“Mr Flashy” approached the Fowler camp to try to make a peace-offering – but it was rejected.

The fearful mob boss, who is now isolated after the Kinahan cartel abandoned him, is understood to be trying to avoid a violent war.

It is believed the other side were offered a large cash sum – thought to be around €10,000 – to ultimately save the gang boss from retribution this week.

But sources say the offer was instantly turned down with Fowler’s men demanding names be given in relation to the attack on their pal last week.

A source said: “They were told to give up the names of the lads involved in that attack or there would be no peace.”

But it is understood “Mr Flashy” is refusing to give up the names as many of those involved are extremely close to him personally. As a result, gardai now fear the eruption of a bitter gangland feud with “Mr Flashy” now in imminent grave danger.

And sources added the Fowler faction will not entertain any sum of money and that tensions are at an all-time high.

One said: “No amount of money can get him out of this. His life is now under serious threat.”

Sources added “Mr Flashy” is also under grave threat as he no longer has the protection of the Kinahan cartel who have abandoned him completely.

He is understood to be in hiding with several “safe houses” scattered throughout Dublin.

It comes after gardai raided the home of “Mr Flashy’s” close associate in Cappagh Drive last Wednesday as officers moved to crack down on his gang.

A video emerged of armed officers storming the property and breaking down what is understood to be a bullet-proof window.

Associates of Fowler, who died in a motorbike crash in 2019, also attacked a man known to “Mr Flashy” on Monday, leaving him with a broken eye-socket.

Each of the incidents come as “Mr Flashy” and a number of others were arrested last Monday after being allegedly caught with €60,000 of suspected cocaine.

They were later released without charge, with a file going to the Director of Public Prosecutions on the matter.

The escalation in violence also comes after the Irish Mirror recently revealed “Mr Flashy” had been handed a Garda Information Message – a form officially notifying him of a credible threat to his own life.
