Mo Salah gives his honest opinion on Jurgen Klopp's rotation policy at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah says he wants to play every minute of every game at Liverpool rather than rotate with other stars in the squad.

But adds he respects Jurgen Klopp's decision to chop and change his starting XI.

Salah recently acted angrily after being subbed off in Liverpool's Premier League clash with Brighton, and was visibly upset as he watched the rest of the match from the stands.

Liverpool boss Klopp played down Salah's reaction at the time, and now the Egyptian has spoken out to say that despite his desire to always play for the Reds, he understands why rotation is necessary.

"I want to play every minute I can play. But I cannot discuss this because it has to do with the tactic and viewpoint of the coach," Salah told beIN SPORTS.

"But if you are asking me about my opinion, I like to play in every match, the full 90 minutes, and even 95 minutes. I want to play until the last second of the game.

"But at the end of the day, the coach decides, and the players respect his decision."

Despite wanting to play every match, and perhaps not enjoying the 'competition for places' element of the game, Salah likes watching young stars come through the ranks.

He added: " When they play Champions League or Premier League games, they perform well and emerge as stars. This encourages them.

"The other players fully trust them and talk to them before and during matches. I fully support them, and I'm very happy with their performance to date.

"I hope they'll continue in the same way. I wish they were there when Virgil and Joel were playing so that they could learn from them and add to their experience.

"But I certainly support them and hope they will keep up their good work."
