Mo Farah struggled through his trial Fort Locks whilst screaming and being knocked to the ground - but eventually won nine stars out of 12 for camp.
The Olympic gold medalist took on a different kind of competition as he had to put his hand in hell holes filled with slime and fish guts to get coloured keys.
He then moved to the other side of the room and used the each key to open up padlocked grates and then put his hand in to find stars in amongst scorpians, lizards and rats.
Mo, 37, started off slowly and was even knocked to the ground by rotten tomatoes as he moved from one side of the room to the other.
The first hole contained offal but Mo rummaged around to retrieve the key on a chain. It had a yellow key so Mo had to try the three yellow locks to release the star.
The grate opened and he had to rummage around worms to unscrew the star before placing it in the bag.
The second hole contained fish guts and Mo screamed as he retrieved the key. He opened the corresponding grate which contained locusts and again he unscrewed the star and put it safely in his bag.
He eventually found some rhythm and managed to open nine of the holes and get out nine stars, meaning nine meals for camp.
Mo seemed disappointed after the Trial.
He said the hardest element of the Trial was “just not knowing what was on the other side”.
Host Dec replied: “A lot of the time it was worse in your head than in the hole.”
Once back in camp he was cheered when he told them the result.
Mo added: “I hope my kids will be pleased for me tonight getting nine stars. I was thinking about them when I was doing it and getting through it. I don't want to embarrass myself but at the same time I was making a lot of noise. Sorry kids!”
The dinner he won was cuttlefish which was cooked by Vernon Kay.
