The boys are back, ladies and gentlemen.
We’re happy to announce that MMA Junkie Radio is set to return Monday, Aug. 19, with the premiere of a twice-weekly podcast. The new show, which will have a new format, comes on the heels of MMA Junkie Radio’s five-year run as a daily radio program on SiriusXM.
George Garcia and Brian Garcia, a.k.a. “Gorgeous” George and “Goze,” will continue to host the podcast, which will be available on Mondays and Thursdays. It can be found right here on MMA Junkie, as well as on iTunes Podcasts, Spotify, AudioBoom, Stitcher, and other streaming services.
“Twelve-and-a-half years ago, we started in the podcast world, which was then the land of the unknown,” “Gorgeous” George said. “Now after five years on the national radio stage, we make our triumphant return to our roots, and we couldn’t be more excited. New schedule, new format, same ol’ ‘Gorgeous’ George and ‘Goze.’ Stay tuned Junkie Nation!”
Added “Goze”: “For the last 12 years, George and I have given everything we have to this show, and in that aspect nothing will change. The show itself will evolve like everything else in our sport, and we are exited to have Junkie Nation along with us for this new ride.”
MMA Junkie Radio, which began as TAGG Radio on April 11, 2007, has been part of the MMA Junkie/USA TODAY Sports family since 2009.
