MLB world reacts to Christian Yelich’s brutal season-ending knee injury

Christian Yelich’s season came to a shocking end Tuesday night when he fractured his right kneecap on a foul ball.

The reigning NL MVP and his 44 home runs and 97 RBIs will no longer be able to help the Milwaukee Brewers as they try to fight for one of the NL wild-card spots.

Which is a bummer, because the left-handed slugger is one of the more fun players to watch in all of Majors League Baseball.

The injury occurred in the first inning against the Marlins in Miami. He slammed a foul ball off his knee and immediately hit the deck. The team later announced his season was over.
