MLB The Show 25: Which 10th Inning Boss Should You Choose?

The 2025 MLB season is coming to a close, with the Los Angeles Dodgers bagging their second consecutive World Series win. And as the World Series ends, we know what that means: time for postseason content. This year’s postseason content in MLB The Show 25 includes the 10th inning program and XP reward path to introduce the 2025 Finest series.

Part of the series is the 10th Inning Bosses, and we have a star-studded lineup this year. Your choices for this year will be between Boston Red Sox closer Aroldis Chapman, still-Oakland-to-me Athletics first baseman Nick Kurtz, and New York Mets right fielder Juan Soto. Not only are they the 10th Inning Bosses, but they are also the first Finest series cards to be released. The series is off to a strong start already.

But that’s enough about the series, you’re here to find out which card is best. So let’s take a look at what each card has to offer and why you should go for it.

The Best 10th-Inning Boss

All three of the 10th-Inning Bosses are great cards to have. Not only do they boast extraordinary stats, but the art design really brings out the boss aspect of the card. The fiery finishes only add to the aesthetic beauty that goes along with it. Unfortunately, you can only get one out of the MLBTS25 10th-Inning program. So which one should you pick?

The answer is Juan Soto. And we know what you’re thinking: that’s what everyone single person on the internet is saying. That’s just because it’s true. Finest Series Juan Soto is undoubtedly one of the best versions of Soto, as well as one of the top cards in all of Diamond Dynasty.

At a glance, you can see why that may be. Soto, at 26 years of age, has 120+ stats in nearly all his batting stats. His Power is unmatched against any pitcher, while his Contact sits at 125 and 110 against right and left pitchers, respectively. Not to mention his insane Steal and BR AGG potential, both sitting comfortably at 99. His Speed could be slightly higher, but at that point, he’d just overpower every aspect of play.

If you’re really serious about growing your squad and are looking for an ideal pick, go with Juan Soto hands down.

Kurtz And Chapman Are Trailing Behind

We’re sorry in advance for all the Krutz and Chapman fans out there, but unfortunately, their stats just don’t hold a candle to Soto’s otherworldly stats. While Kurtz has some impressive batting stats (similar to Soto), he falls behind in almost every other category.

The same goes for Chapman; however, since he’s a pitcher, he can be judged differently. His stats are incredible and definitely do stand out, but missing out on this Finest series Soto is not something we’d recommend. Personal preferences aside, if you’re looking for the optimal 10th-Inning Boss pick, we’d recommend going with Juan Soto.
