Anyone who’s been paying attention to Team Affinity in MLB The Show 25 knows that the All-Stars drop is among the most anticipated in the game’s cycle. Today will be the day when Diamond Dynasty players can finally claim these cards and put them on their team. But who will be among the players available in this new Team Affinity update?
As one would expect, players who made the All-Star team or received All-Star votes will be represented in Team Affinity All-Stars. Below is a list of the All-Stars players available through Team Affinity in MLB The Show 25, and how you can unlock them.
Which Players Will Be Available In Team Affinity All-Stars In MLB The Show 25?
Earlier today, San Diego Studio announced which players for which teams were selected for the Team Affinity All-Stars promo. They are as follows:
- Toronto Blue Jays: Alejandro Kirk
- Boston Red Sox: Alex Bregman
- Seattle Mariners: Andres Munoz
- Tampa Bay Rays: Brandon Lowe
- St. Louis Cardinals: Brendan Donovan
- Cincinnati Reds: Elly De La Cruz
- Arizona Diamondbacks: Eugenio Suarez
- Los Angeles Dodgers: Freddie Freeman
- Milwaukee Brewers: Freddy Peralta
- Colorado Rockies: Hunter Goodman
- Texas Rangers: Jacob deGrom
- Athletics: Jacob Wilson
- San Diego Padres: Jason Adam
- Houston Astros: Jeremy Pena

- New York Yankees: Max Fried
- Pittsburgh Pirates: Paul Skenes
- New York Mets: Pete Alonso
- Detroit Tigers: Riley Greene
- San Francisco Giants: Robbie Ray
- Baltimore Orioles: Ryan O’Hearn
- Chicago White Sox: Shane Smith
- Cleveland Guardians: Steven Kwan
- Los Angeles Angels: Yusei Kikuchi
- Philadelphia Phillies: Zack Wheeler
Overall, it seems to be a good selection of players. Not only have these players been standout performers on their teams in real life, but it seems to be a good selection of meta players in MLB The Show 25. Nobody is gonna complain about another Skenes card, or having players with meta swings like Eugenio Suarez, Riley Greene, Freddie Freeman, Alex Bregman, or Brandon Lowe, among others.
As the kids say, I think SDS cooked with this!
How To Unlock The Team Affinity All-Stars Cards In MLB The Show 25

MLB The Show 25 has handled Team Affinity differently than in years past. While certain promos, such as Color Storm, have been given their own pathways, a lot of the vouchers for better cards are to be released through Team Affinity: My Journey. All-Stars is no different.
In order to unlock the Team Affinity All-Stars cards in MLB The Show 25, you will need to attain the All-Stars voucher in each team’s path. Every team requires users to collect 285,000 Team Affinity (TA) points to unlock the card. TA points are granted for reaching certain milestones with team-specific players. By now, most players have used enough players to at least put a dent in each pathway. However, if you’re a bit behind, worry not. There are several ways to quickly attain TA points and make headway.
The way I’d go about it is to create a squad in the game consisting of players of only one team. From there, start a Play vs. CPU game. Play about 5 innings or so and quit (you won’t be given any actual penalties, and points earned to that point will be preserved), then check your progress from there.
The best things to knock out are the Season Standout Missions, as they’re worth 15,000 TA points a piece. You can stack these with other missions, too.
