MLB The Show 25 Announces 16 New Signature Series Cards

We’re getting into the backstretch of the 2025 Major League Baseball season. And as any seasoned MLB The Show player can tell you, that means we’re starting to get into the thick of endgame content in Diamond Dynasty. And now, MLB The Show 25 is advertising another big drop when it comes to the Signature Series later today.

For anyone who hasn’t been paying attention, the Signature Series in MLB The Show 25 is one of the biggest card series in the game, as it typically pertains to top-tier cards and is representative of the peaks of their careers. Not only that, but Signature Series cards are extremely rare. To date, only two have been released — Carlos Beltran’s card, which is unlocked upon completing the Live Series collection, and Corey Kluber, who was one of the Boss cards in the 6th Inning Program. And among those two, only Kluber is sellable.

But earlier today, MLB The Show 25 announced that there will be a total of 16 new Signature Series cards that will be released this afternoon.

All New Signature Series Cards In MLB The Show 25

At 3 PM EST (Noon PST) today, 16 new Signature Series cards will be dropping. Here are the cards, as well as their overalls:

  • SP Matt Cain – San Francisco Giants (98)
  • 1B Tony Clark – Detroit Tigers (98)
  • CP Mark Davis – San Diego Padres (98)
  • 2B DJ LeMahieu – Colorado Rockies (98)
  • LF Don Baylor – Los Angeles Angels (99)
  • 1B Prince Fielder – Milwaukee Brewers (99)
  • SP Johan Santana – Minnesota Twins (99)
  • 1B Justin Morneau – Minnesota Twins (99)
  • SP Mike Mussina – New York Yankees (99)
  • CF Eric Davis – Cincinnati Reds (99)
  • C Joe Mauer – Minnesota Twins (99)
  • SP Jake Arrieta – Chicago Cubs (99)
  • RP Darren O’Day – Baltimore Orioles (99)
  • C Jorge Posada – New York Yankees (99)
  • CF Bernie Williams – New York Yankees (99)
  • 3B David Wright – New York Mets (99)

As of right now, we’re waiting to see which ones will be in packs or as part of a Collection. However, we can confirm that Justin Morneau, Andy Pettitte, and David Wright will be earnable in a Signature Series program. Considering that 98 overall cards have been mostly in packs, that’s likely what will become of the Cain, Clark, Davis, and LeMahieu.

Honestly, I love this drop! As a Yankees fan, seeing Bernie, Jorge, and Mussina get 99 OVR cards is an absolute treat, as each of them has been historically good in MLB The Show. Beyond that, almost everyone in this drop has something meta about them, be it a good swing or pitch mix.

We’ll update this piece later today with more information on how to earn these cards.
