Sports games are among the hardest to judge due to the frequency in which they release. Each year we’re treated to new installments in the Madden, NHL, FIFA, and MLB franchises. What often gets lost in translation is the quality of these games due to the perceived minor nature of changes that come with each new iteration. MLB The Show 22 is a fine example of a fantastic game that might not get the rub it deserves because of seemingly incremental improvements.
