The New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox are going to do something fun next Thursday – they’re going to Iowa to play in a “Field of Dreams” game on the farm where that classic baseball movie was shot.
That’s a fun idea by MLB, which is a league that usually stinks at doing cool things. There’s going to be a corn maze behind the outfield wall and everything. I have to applaud them for thinking outside the box and doing something interesting.
Today, MLB unveiled the throwback uniforms the teams will be wearing for the game and they both looked pretty darn cool, too. Especially Chicago’s.
