MLB Fans Did Not Like TBS Announcer’s Corny Line About Diamondbacks After Final Out of NLCS

The Diamondbacks are going back to the World Series for the first time in 22 years after stunning the Phillies in Game 7 on Tuesday night, 4–2. Arizona will take on the Rangers in the Fall Classic, which starts Friday night

Arizona won Games 6 and 7 in Philadelphia to punch its ticket to the World Series. This came after the Diamondbacks swept the 100-win Dodgers in the NLDS.

The final out against the Phillies was a fitting one for the Diamondbacks, with star rookie right fielder Corbin Carroll making a catch down the right field line that set off quite a party both on the field, and in Arizona's locker room
