Arsenal begin their pre-season preparations today with a behind-closed-doors friendly at MK Dons.
Mikel Arteta welcomed his squad back to their London Colney training base over the weekend, three weeks on from their FA Cup Final win over Chelsea.
The Gunners face Premier League champions Liverpool in the Community Shield on Saturday, so Arteta will be able to give his players a run out at stadium:mk this evening.
MK Dons already have four pre-season friendlies under their belt, more recently a 3-2 home loss to Coventry, and are yet to record a victory.
Their domestic campaign begins on September 5 with an EFL Cup first round home tie against Coventry.
