'Mixture of Pogba and Yaya' - Liverpool fans say the same thing after new Ilaix Moriba transfer report

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move Barcelona prospect Ilaix Moriba.

The 18-year-old midfielder is out of contract with the La Liga giants next summer and is yet to reach a new deal at the club.

Moriba has been a a part of Barcelona's academy since 2010 and made 18 first-team appearances in all competitions last season for Ronald Koeman's side.

He scored his first top-flight goal against Osasuna in March, becoming Barcelona's fifth youngest scorer in club's history.

But it is claimed that Moriba has decided to leave Barcelona this summer, which has resulted in proposals from 12 different sides.

Liverpool are reported to be one of the teams in the hunt for his signature and supporters have made their feelings clear regarding a potential deal.

Moriba is highly rated in Barcelona's famed La Masia academy and stepped up to the first-team last season.

Denis Silva Puig, his former coach, revealed he was nicknamed after Paul Pogba due to his similarities with the Manchester United star.

He said: "He's physically very strong, but he's also a very intelligent player. Most people don't appreciate this.

"Here he's called the '[Paul] Pogba of Barca' because he's like a young Pogba, but also he is very, very intelligent—and that is his big potential. He is a top player, no doubt."
