
People walk below an expanse of Shiki-zakura cherry trees, which bloom in spring and autumn, accented by red autumnal foliage in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, on Saturday. About 1,200 Shiki-zakura trees cover the mountain slope at Senmi Shiki-zakura no Sato in the Obara district. According to the Obara tourism association, the confluence of cherry blossoms and red leaves at their peak can be seen only until late this month because the leaves will likely fall first.
