Johnny Sexton is on course to make Leinster's opening Champions Cup clash in Montpellier - but James Ryan is a doubt for Saturday's pool encounter.
Ireland skipper Sexton had to come off against Scotland with a dead leg last Saturday, having previously missed the England Georgia games in the Autumn Nations Cup with a hamstring issue.
But Leinster are confident that the 35-year-old will be available for the first game of the tournament, which features a more condensed format this season due to Covid restrictions.
Ryan, who captained Ireland in the absence of Sexton for those two games, must go through return to play protocols after picking up a head injury last weekend.
With Ed Byrne definitely missing with a calf injury suffered on Ireland duty, James Lowe is another who could miss out after a groin injury that flared up after Ireland's loss at Twickenham, but he will be assessed during the week before a decision is made.

Garry Ringrose has captained Leinster in the absence of Sexton recently, but the centre has himself been missing after suffering a fractured jaw in the Six Nations victory over Italy.
Ringrose, Leinster's Player of the Year last term, could make his return in the south of France, and Leo Cullen is also boosted by confirmation that Will Connors is fit again after suffering a head injury on international duty.
Garry Ringrose could return after his broken jaw, while James Lowe is also being assessed after hurting his groin in the aftermath of Ireland's defeat to England.
Jimmy O'Brien will also be looking to get game time after showing such dangerous form in the PRO14 after recovering from injury.
The province have also confirmed that prop Ciaran Parker has returned to Jersey Reds after his loan spell.
