Latrell Mitchell will miss South Sydney's clash with Canterbury after Wayne Bennett opted to rest him following State of Origin III.
The Rabbitohs revealed on Sunday afternoon that Mitchell would sit out the match, four days after finishing a brilliant Origin series for NSW.
Blake Taaffe will again fill in at fullback after doing so against North Queensland in last Friday night's win.
The rest of the Rabbitohs' Origin players will back up in the match, with Dane Gagai, Damien Cook and Cameron Murray to all feature at Cbus Super Stadium.
